This is so similar to the roller-coaster ride of design and the design process. The mixed feelings and emotions that go with designing, excitement, enthusiasm, doubt, confidence, relief, stress, suffering, love and most importantly self-satisfaction. Design should be a good intention with as little as self-satisfaction being the reward. Architects and urban designers need to be enthusiasts about the future of our society.
